How can I upload my offer data?

Product Data and Offer Data are two separate data that must be uploaded separately.

You can create a new offer manually in your Seller Office, upload a CSV file, or use our Open API.

To create a new listing manually, go to My Inventory in the Seller Office and click Add New Offer. First, you need to search for the product via GTIN or MID (Material IDentification). When you have found the right product, add all your details, and then send us the offer.

To create multiple offers, you can use the CSV file. Go to Manage Offers in your Seller Office and download the template. The template contains all the data you need to create an offer. Use one line for each product you want to sell. When you have finished preparing your file, save it as a CSV and upload it to the Seller Office by using a comma or period as decimal separator.

For further information download here Product and Offer Data.

Can I change my offer details?

Yes, you can update your offer data at any time.

You can update your listing data manually, via a CSV file or via the Open API.

Reupload offer data and it will change automatically.

If you want to edit several offers with a CSV file, there are two different options:

  1. Update or add inventory: If you choose this option, we will either update your existing listings; or create new listings for the products in the file. The offers that are not in the file will not be changed.

  2. Replace Existing Inventory: If you choose this option, we will replace all of your current inventory data with the exact data in the file. Everything that is not in the file will be deleted and all new and changed items will be updated.

  3. Delete Existing Inventory: Use this function if you want to stop offering an item for sale. Only Specified Items will be stopped for the offering.

How can I delete my offers?

You can manually deactivate any offer in your Seller Office.

You must go to inventory then click on the right side of the offer that shows Offer History. After, click on the three dots at the end of the line; there you can deactivate an offer so that it is no longer visible or purchasable.

You can also deactivate your offers via the Open API.

If you connect with an open API you must deactivate through the software partner you are using.

Please note: Offers that are in the ordering process can no longer be changed to the current order.

Where can I see if my offer data was approved?

After each upload of an offer file, you can download a report file from your Seller Office. You can find the file and report it under the Manage Offers tab.

This report file provides detailed information on whether your offer data was sufficient. Lines with warnings can be edited and we can create or update the offer.

Warnings should be corrected if you choose to include the information in your listings. Incorrect lines will not be processed and the offer will not be created or updated. Once all errors are corrected, you may upload the offer again.

Describe the Volume Discounts- Sells and more.

We remain true to the motto "buy more, pay less", METRO Marketplace customers are used to pay less for a higher purchase volume for years.
The benefits are strong customer demand. We also offer a great customer experience when shopping at METRO Marketplace; essentially offering volume discounts. This increases the customers' shopping cart and reduces the effective unit price.

You can transfer volume discounts in your offer data or later directly in your Seller Office.

Advertise with strikethrough prices

METRO Marketplace offers you the possibility to advertise your product offers with strikethrough prices.

A strikethrough price is the crossed-out price that is displayed next to the offer and is intended to make it clear that the offer is cheaper than normal.

Under applicable law, the strikethrough price must be the lowest price at which a commercial seller has sold the product through the specific sales medium in the 30 days preceding the price reduction.

If we receive an offer price from you, we will compare it to your historical prices to determine the strikethrough price for you.
