Why must I confirm my email address?

Your email address must be confirmed to ensure that it is a real email address. The e-mail address you provided (with the exception of your login data) will also be used by the METRO Marketplace to provide you with important information about your account, orders, and other urgent matters.

How can I upload my company’s Imprint Data, Terms, and Conditions & Cancelation Policies?

Log into your account with your email address and password. 

Click on the name of your company in the header and go to Shop Data & Policies

You will be redirected to the page on which all required master data can be updated.

Do B2B customers have the right to return products?

B2B withdrawal can be excluded. However, if the B2B withdrawal is not excluded then the seller must accept it and write that a private buyer can return the order.

How do I generate the API key to be able to use a software partner?

In your METRO Seller Office, you will find the "API Key" tab in the "My Account" area. 

Here you can generate the required client key and client secret yourself. 

  1. To do this, click on your seller name at the top right ---> My Account

  2. Now please click on the tab "API Key"

  3. As soon as you click the "Generate API key" button, you will receive the access data. Please be aware that the Client Secret is only displayed once, so we advise you to make a note of it.

  4. You can also delete the generated keys. When using this function, these become immediately invalid.

  5. API Keys can be generated only after the account was approved.
