Product data contains general information and features that describe the product such as product name, images, and attributes.

How can I upload my Product Data?

You can upload your product data with a CSV file. It enables you to include product data for multiple products in one file. Always use one line per product.

You can see the status of your file on the upload page. In the report file, you can see which data could be processed automatically and whether errors have occurred with your product data such as missing mandatory data. You can improve your file based on our feedback and upload it again.

What is the Category Tree and what must I use it for?

The Category Tree is a listing that is in your seller’s office of the categories your product belongs to. On this list of categories, there are subcategories to identify your product to a more specific group. This in turn will identify your product so that you may enter the information onto our CSV file.

How do I access the Category Tree?

Step by step instructions:

You can access it in your Seller Office on the hand side Under Inventory. Click on this section and underneath the options click on Category tree. There you will see the listing of all categories.

How do I access the Category ID?

Select the category and keep on selecting whichever subcategory is closest to your product. Once, you have selected the closest category description of your product you may then go to the right-hand side and select details. There you will access the attributes, the attributes contain a category ID which is necessary to include in your CSV file.

How do I create a CSV file?

First, download the template in your Seller Office. The template contains all the general information we need to create your product page on the marketplace. Go to the Categories page and search for the relevant categories for your ranges. Copy the ID of the appropriate category and paste it into your product data file. Ensure to always use the lowest level of the category tree. The page also provides more information about the categories such as VAT, marketplace fees, and the attributes required. Review the categories and ranges your products are classified under and insert the suggested attributes as separate columns in your file.

Please note that a good product description and detailed information will help buyers make better purchasing decisions and reduce the number of returns and cancellations.

When the preparation of your file is finished, save it as CSV (semicolon separated) and upload it to the Seller Office. We will then process and review it. Please note that it can take a few days for your product data to be released depending on the amount and file size. The time length can take up to 5 business days.

Where can I see the status of my products?

You can download a report file from your Seller Office after each upload of a Product Data file. You can find these reports if you go to Inventory and then Manage Products. This report file provides detailed information about the quality of the Product Data. Lines with warnings can be edited and the product can be updated. However, we ask you to review and correct these warnings to ensure a better display of the product. Incorrect lines can not be processed and the product can not be generated. Please make sure to correct the errors and upload the file again.

Can I change my product details?

Yes, you can upload a new CSV file with updated information. Please be aware that the processing and publication of the data can take up to 5 business days.

What happens if I do not have a GTIN for my product?

The GTIN also is known as a global trade Item number is a global identifier for your product. Please always provide the GTIN when it is available. If you want to sell a product that does not have a GTIN, you will need to provide the information of the manufacturer and MPN (Manufacturer Part Number). Pay attention to the correct spelling of these codes. In addition, you can use the MID, our marketplace gives this as an article number. Our marketplace dictates the article number to provide product data for a product that already exists in our marketplace.

Please contact our Seller Support Team if you discover product data that does not describe the product correctly. Please be aware that all data received to display the best product data on the product page. You can contact our Seller Support Team for more information on how you can improve your Product Data quality.

The Product Data must be entered in the respective market place language.

My product file is being checked. How long do I have to wait?

It can take up to 5 business days for our Product Data Team to review the Product Data and approve or reject your file.

Please note that the better the quality of your product data, the faster it will be checked and approved.
